School gatherings are days on which clubs from different areas bring the boys and girls of their rugby schools to train together, play friendly matches and meet players from other clubs. The aim is for children to get hooked on rugby from an early age and to learn its values by playing.
What they give young players

How to take part
If your club has a rugby school and would like to come, send us the club name, the number of players and their ages. We will confirm your place and send you the details of the day.
Hosting a gathering
Hosting a gathering is a good way to show off your club and its facilities, strengthen ties with other clubs and help grassroots rugby. You will need:
- A rugby pitch in good condition, with space to warm up and room for other activities.
- Volunteers to help organise the day.
- A wish to give the children a great day of rugby.
